better
good や well の比較級や最上級は不規則に変化する。
▷文の中での使い方はほかの文と同じ。
■ 例文 (1) She can sing well.
比較級: She can sing better than her sister.
最上級: She can sing the best in her family.
(2) Your bike is good.
比較級:Your bike is better than mine.
妹よりもうまくに歌える
家族でいちばんうまく
歌える
最上級:Your bike is the best of the three.
◇ like を使った文の比較級と最上級
▷ like を使った文では次のような形をとる。
比較級:<主語 + like + (好きな方) better than (比較対象)>
最上級: <主語 + like + (一番好きなもの) + the best (+ of / in ~)>
■ 例文 (1) I like English.
比較級:I like English better than math.
数学よりも英語が好き
最上級: I like English the best of all subjects. 英語がいちばん好き
(2) She likes summer.
比較級: She likes summer better than winter.
最上級: She likes summer the best of all seasons.
(3) He likes Kimetsu no Yaiba.
比較級: He likes Kimetsu no Yaiba better than Dragon Ball.
最上級: He likes Kimetsu no Yaiba the best of all.
(4) I like her.
比較級: I like her better than her friend.
最上級: I like her the best in the world. 世界でいちばん好き
