3人や3つ以上のものを比べて
「「いちばん~」という言い方をするもの。
単語の変形
to
「いちばん~」というときは、
形容詞や副詞の最後にestをつける。

最上級
文中では、the+最上級の形にする。
例: My father is the tallest in my family.
変形の仕方
estのつけ方はこの他に3つある。
☆eで終わる語はstだけつける例、nice → nicest
☆yで終わる語はy
をiに変えてestをつける
例.easy easiest
☆発音が短い語は最語の文字を重ねてestをつける
例. hot hottest
不規則変化
最上級が規則なして変化すること。
例.good. well best

複数のものの中で最も~、という時は、
名詞+動詞+the+最上級+of+数となる。
