Researchers at the University of Minnesota Medical School
came up with
ithese interesting results in 1974: they found that men and women who ate 2,000
kilocalories each day for breakfast lost weight, while those who ate the same 2,000
10 kilocalories at night gained weight. Jane Brody, health columnist for the New
York Times, says that (5, breakfast can actually “help you lose weight. Aftera good
breakfast, you are likely to eat less for lunch and dinner. Also, calories consumed
early in the day are used primarily for fuel, while calories consumed at night tend
to be stored as fat.”
