この問題の(2)の赤線を引いているところについて質問です。なぜ最大を求めるときにpn+1/pnを考えるのですか?よく分からないので教えてほしいです🙇🏻‍♀️

例題 B1.54 確率の最大 納法 (119) **** 校庭に,南北の方向に1本の白線が引いてある. ある人が、白線上の A点から西へ5メートルの点に立ち、硬貨を投げて, 表が出たときは東 1メートル進み, 裏が出たときは北へ1メートル進む. 白線に達するま で,これを続ける. (1) A地点からnメートル北の点に到達する確率p を求めよ。 (2) を最大にする n を求めよ. 考え方 まず、nが2や3の場合を考える. 解答 n=3の場合,右の図のBが出発点Pが到達点 Pに到達するには,必ずQ を通ることになる. BからQ までの道筋は通りだから,Qに到達する 確率は,C (2) また,QからPへ行く確率は1/12より p3 (1)Aからnメートル北の点P に到達するには, その1メートル西の点 Q を通らなければならない. 出発点をB とすると, B から Qへ行く場合の数 は, 44 通り n+4 よって, 求める確率は, pn=n+4C4 n+4 (n+4)!/1\n+5 == n!4! (京都大) N P 3 B ・5 B 4 2 Q&N \+4 n [HA S (2) Pn+1 n+5Cal Pn = 2 n+6 n+5 c.(1/2)" n+4Cal n+5 2(n+1) (n+5)! (2) (n+1)!4! (n+4)! n!4! (1) 2 n+6 n+5 B→Qn: n+4C Q.→P:// 2 n+1 n! 1 (n+1)! ここで, pu+1-1= n+5 3-n --1=- Pn 2(n+1) 2(n+1) Pu+1と1との大小関係を Pn 場合分けして調べる、 だから, n≦2 のとき,pu<pu+1 n=3 のとき, D3=pa この例題の場合、+1>1, PM つまり, よって," を最大にするnの値は,3または4 n≧4 のとき, Pu>pn+1 Þo<Þ₁<þ²<p3=p4>p5>p6>... Pn+1=1, Pn PN+1 <1の3つ PR の場合分けが必要となる、 第1章
