(2)について質問です。 最後の詠嘆の助動詞は 〜であったなぁ または 〜であるなぁ どちらでもいいんですか？ 回答は現在形で訳してました。

英語の問題で、５番の２がなぜwhereの後の動詞が過去形になるのか分かりません。問題には、「魚がたくさんいる」とあるので、現在形にしたのですが、答えは、過去形になっていました。
