za7gなag7g、 Recently。a calhgrapher Kunishige Tomomi developed a unique style: she writes
Enghsh words in her calhigraphy. Some ofyou may think that it is not new at all. However,
the words are in the shape of az嫌. For example, she writes the English word “sea” in the
shape of zzz7 (海) and “Peace” in the shape of wa (和). She expresses the meanings of んzz7in
English without losing the beauty ofJapanese calligraphy. Kunishige Tomomi calls this style
Zzz77。 She says that it has two meanings: “Enghsh az7 and “a good feehng"
