This method, however, has produced a lot of debate. Many think it is wrong to treat live eggs as objects and then “kill them, even though the purpose is to treat patients. In addition people fear that this method could lead to human cloning. 5 For years, Dr. Yamanaka and his research team worked hard to find a different way to create tissue. Then, in 2007. they finally succeeded in creating heart muscle tissue from skin cells taken from a person's face. They first added four kinds of genes to the skin cells to put them back into their initial state, a state similar to egg cells. Then they made those cells grow into heart muscle tissue. The four genes they found are now called "Yamanaka Factors," and the initialized cells that can grow into any of the 200 cell types are called iPS cells. ma 20 on 18 th r 25時

Communication English II Lesson 7 Encouraging Song Section 1&2 Reading Passage Section 1 There are many songs that help people overcome sadness or troubles. Makenaide may be one of them. This song has been encouraging many people for a long time. The lyrics of Makenaide were written by Sakai Izumi, the vocalist of ZARD. It became a hit in 1993. The following year, it was adopted as the theme song for the National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament. Some schools have also been using this song for graduation ceremonies. When the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred in 1995, this song was often aired. Many people were able to recover their spirits by listening to it. The song also cheered people up after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. Unfortunately, Sakai passed away in 2007. However, this song is still popular today. Section 2 What makes this song so attractive? The answer may be in its lyrics. The song has a message of hope for everyone. Let's take a look at the first refrain. 2022 P=HT 6. 次のお知らせを読み、 (1) ~ (2) のA~Dで適切なものに○をつけなさい。 [4×2=8] TO: All staff From: Erin Liner, Manager Date: July 15 Subject: Our survey Dear all. We have finished reviewing the data which we received from the recent customer satisfaction survey. I would like to share the most important findings, and how we can improve on certain areas of our work. Overall, customers were happy with the quality of our service. the helpfulness of our staff, and the range of products we offer. However, there were some negative comments which we can begin to work on. A common complaint was that there are not enough foreign titles in the store, especially Japanese comics. I will ask John Calman to research some of the most popular series and make sure we start carrying them from the fall. As Gita Pradesh spent her college years in Tokyo, I will ask her to assist. Better signage was another thing which people wanted. They spend a lot of time looking for the right section and it frustrates a lot of customers. This is something we can improve immediately, so I will speak to Alice Moore today about making the signs easier to see, and adding more if necessary. Finally, we got some comments about having a small cafe in the store. Nowadays, people want to have a coffee while reading or browsing, and it could be a new source of profit. Mario Venetti will make a report on the feasibility and deliver it next month. Thank you for all your efforts in making us the best we can be. Erin Liner Manager (1) What is the purpose of the e-mail?
