Scientists involved in NOAA's report thought that climate change did significantly
increase the likelihood of last year's warm winter in the United Kingdom and heat wave
in Texas, though their calculations are admittedly imperfect. Experts also determined
10 they could not show that global warming contributed to flooding in Thailand - the
level of rainfall wasn't historically unusual.
