®原級を使った比較
① My brother is as tall as my father.
(兄は父と同じぐらいの身体だ)
①<asas...>「...と同じぐらい~」
②<hotas(s)~as.)「…ほど~ではない」
② Idon't sing as well as my sister.
(私は妹ほど歌がうまくない)
③ This room is twice as large as that one. ③<twice as~as.>「…の2倍の~」
(この部屋はあの部屋の2倍の大きさだ)
※①「~と同じぐらいの(数量)の名詞は(as many/much+名詞+as~>
I have as many booksas you. (私はあなたと同じぐらいの数の本を持っている。)
※③ 「半分のはhalf、「3倍の…」は three times を用いる。
That room is half as large as this one. (あの部屋はこの部屋の半分の大きさだ)
He had three times as much money as me.(彼は私の3倍のお金を持っていた。)

「~よりもずっと(はるかに)…」
⑦数を使った表現を比較級の前に置いて、
差を明示する。

※②副詞の最上級の場合はtheを置かないことが多い。

in: 比べる 相手がある場所(範囲)の中に入っているような場合

※ no other と any other の後は単数形の名詞が続くことに注意。
※noはゼロを表す数詞
