~基本形~
be動詞: 主語によってam/is/are等に分けます。
Date
現在形:「・・・は)~です」の意味でam/is/areを用います。

I am a high school student. 私は高校生です。
Maki is a high school student. マキは高校生です。
・We are high school student. 私たちは高校生です。
過去形:「(は)~でした」の意味で was/were を用います。
Bob was very busy yesterday. ボブは昨日とても忙しかったです。
Maki and Bob were very busy yesterday.
マキとボブは、昨日とても忙しかったです。
未来形:「は)~でしょう」の意味でwill be を用います。

「疑問文」の作り方:主語の前にbe動詞を置きます。

・Are you hungry? - Yes, I am / No, I am not
あなたはおなかがすいていますか? はい。/いいえ。

○Was Bob sick yesterday? Yes, I am / No,he was not.
ボブは昨日病気だったんですか? はい。/いいえ。
未来を表す文の場合には、主語にwill を置きます。
Will your brother be present next time?
- Yes he will [Vo,he will not.
あなたの弟は次回出度しますか。はい。/いいえ。
「否定文」の作り方:be動詞の後ろにnotを入れます。
Bob is not sick in bed. ボブは病気で寝込んでいません。
・Maki was not at home yesterday.マキは昨日家にいません。
未来を現す文の場合には、willの後ろに not を入れます。
・It will not be rainy tomorrow. 明日は雨にならないでしょう。
