となります。接続詞 or でつなぐ A or B は同じ形を取らなくてはなりません。この文では、一方は動名詞 going で始まる名詞句なのに、もう一方は 不定詞 to attend で始まってます。そこがおかしいところです。

と接続詞でつながれる両方の句が動名詞句で揃えられなければなりません。
