thereとunder the tableは意味が同じなので、わざわざ2回言うのはおかしいと言うだけです。
ちなみに、ここで言うthereはthere is のthereとは別物です

机というのはたいてい近くにあるので、遠くにあるという意味を表すthereは使いません。
ですが、遠くにある机の場合はthereを入れるのが自然です
