But his spaceship leaves without him. So he's all alone.
E.T. wants to go home. But his home is far, far
space.

and sister. Elliott needs a friend, and E.I. becomes his
best friend. Life becomes better for both of them.
Together they have a wonderful time. But it doesn't last long.
E.T. needs to go home. One day they fly as high as a bird
on Elliott's bike and

E.I.'s spaceship receives the messages and comes back.
E.T. and Elliott have to say goodbye. E.T. points to Elliott's
head and says, "I'll be right here."
