(Origami is not just a piece of paper!)
①When you hear the word origami,
paper cranes may come to mind.
The art of origami has improved,
and we can now make almost any object.
It's surprising that no glue is used
to make the scorpion above!
2 Origami is part of Japanese culture.
In Japanese history,
origami had two goals: for ceremonies and for play.
An example of the former was a ceremonial envelope,
and a lot of people used to make them.
The letter seemed to have its origin in Heian era.
An old book described how to fold a paper frog.
Since the Meiji era, children have learned how to fold
origami in kindergarten and elementary schools.
