並び替えの部分を適切に並び替える問題なのですが、

his が何故ここにはいるのか分かりません。教えて頂きたいです。
また、出来れば長文の中にある並び替え問題のコツを教えていただきたいです。

並び替えのコツですが、
①動詞を見つける
たいてい一つの文に含まれる動詞は、一つのため、 動詞が見つけられると簡単になります。
しかしcleanが「きれいに」となるように、必ずしも 動詞がそのまま使える訳ではないので、注意
②接続詞や助動詞を明確に
接続詞や助動詞は用途がほぼ決まっています。その ため、この二つは一度除いて考えると良いです。
接続詞や助動詞を除けば、より少ない単語で並び替 えができます
