「彼らはまったく信じられない (目を疑う) 鳥をすぐに発見したことだろう」と推測し
e.g. Early hunters must have regularly come across these foraging females and...
「出くわしていたに違いない」 と, would よりも強い確証を表す。
atridence shows Polynesians could have sailed to South America and back
