古着屋でジムがとった行動とは…。

1 Jim walked into a store. The store had a sign* outside: “Secondhand Clothes Bought
and Sold*” He was carrying an old shirt and asked the owner of the store, “How much
will you give me for this shirt?" The man looked at it, and then said, "Twenty dollars."

“gWhat!" said Jim. “I think it is at least fifty,"

“No," said the man, “It is not very nice. It's twenty dollars."

“Are you sure?" said Jim.
“Very sure,” said the man.
3 “Well," said Jim, and he took twenty dollars out of his pocket. Then he said, “Here's
twenty dollars. @This shirt was in the window* of your store with a price of sixty dollars.
But I thought that was too much money, soI wanted to know its real price. Thank you for

telling me sthe truth."
Then he wallked out of the store with the shirt.
