進行形ってbe動詞＋動詞のing形じゃないんですか？ なんでbe動詞＋現在分詞なのですか？

2 時制 ロ基本時制には現在時制, 過去時制, 未来時制がある。 現在時制は現在形,過去時制は 去形、未来時制は<will [be going to] + 動詞の原形〉で表す。 ロ(現在·過去)進行形は〈be動詞+現在分詞〉,現在完了形は<have [has] +過去 で表す。

例えば｢We are looking for Ken now.｣はare入ってて、｢We play tennis after school.｣はare入ってないんですけど、are入れる時と入れない時の違いを教えて欲しいです💦
