I want to be different. That's why I like to
buy something special.
I support the idea of sustainable development
goals (SDGs). By buying this upcycled bag, I
can contribute to the movement.
Upcycled goods are well designed. They sell
very well with trendy young people.
It takes a lot of time and money to make
upcycled items. As a result, they are
expensive. I don't want to handle them.
Upcycling is really challenging for us
designers. The key is to hit upon good ideas.
In Japan, we have been making new things out
of old things for a long time. My
grandmother made patchwork bags from old
kimonos. Upcycling itself recycles an old idea.
