Shinji Yamada, the President of Family Stores, said, “Most of our stores are in residential areas inside Tokyo. My local convenience store used to offer 24-hour service, but they stopped because they couldn't find anybody to work late at night. ! hope the self-service system of Family Stores is successful,but I'm worried that it might lead to people not paying for their items.
