It was written by William Shakespeare and is set in Verona, Italy. Visitors to Verona can step into the world of the play by visiting places such as "Juliet's house" and "Juliet's tomb." It is common for visitors to spend many hours in these places. Although Shakespeare's Juliet was a fictional character, thousands of people from all over the world send letters to her. They are often addressed simply: Juliet, Verona, Italy Even with this incomplete address, mail carriers in Verona know they should take them to an office called "Juliet's Club."
