高校英語です。画像の文の文構造が全く理解できずに困っています。特に,but the〜からが全く分かりません。おしえていただけると本当にありがたいです。

Please keep your eyes closed until I say Open. Closingではないのは何故ですか？ 目は「閉じられるもの」なので、過去分詞と習いましたが、閉じる人は「私が閉じているままでいる」と言うことではないのですか？
