初めは,マルガレーテはクマのぬいぐるみの生産を推し進めるべきかどうか自信がありませ
んでした. 作るのが難しく, 材料が高額だったためです. しかし, 最終的に, 子供たちには最
良のものこそがふさわしいという彼女自身の信念にもとづき, 生産することに決めました. 国
際見本市で, クマのぬいぐるみがアメリカのおもちゃ会社のバイヤーの目を引き、 そのバイヤ
ーは3,000 体を注文しました.その結果, マルガレーテのクマは海を渡ってアメリカに行きま
した. それはアメリカで人気となり, そこでテディベアと呼ばれました.
