Summary
MARSA
Ban Shigeru is famous for using paper tubes. On January 17, 1995,
there was a big earthquake in Hanshin area. Ban went there and
suggested the priest to make a church as a comunity center with
his paper tube. The priest was agree, and built the church.
Ban wanted to be different from other architect because he wanted to
help people, (not work for rich and powerful people.)
The shelters always have no privacy, so people are damaged in
spirits. Ban made dignity bilding sm which people feet relief.
Ban won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2014.
(He thought that this Prize encourages him to keep on doing what
he is doing now. He wants to make buildings both shelter for the
body and beauty and dignity for the spirit.)
He changes our world for the better.
My Answer
There are some fault points in paper tube, and the most
important thing should be that, paper tube is easy to burn.
So, I think the most important improvement is being strong
to the fire. I think, use a sheet whose material is strong
to the fire, and wrapped the tubes with the sheet.
So the the paper tube building will be stronger.
• I think plastic bags, cans, bottoes are the things we use
a lot but threw away as soon as we finished use it.
For the plastic bags, when we buy something the shop always
give you them. So, we should take our own eco-bags.
for the cans and bottoes, we can recyde them, so threw away
them to the correct trash can. In conclusion, I think there'
are a lot of way to save the materials to make our earth sustainable
