まずは、Akikoのスピーチを読まないといけません。別に、Akikoの意見に対して賛成反対ではなく、思ったことを自由に書けと言われているので、そこまでしっかり内容をとらなくても、ザーッと読めばいいと思います。作文においては、2パラグラフ目以外不要で、2パラの必要な部分だけ抽出すると
メインテーマ: コアラ減少
理由: 木を紙の原料として輸出→木を伐採→コアラが家を失う

要するに、「コアラを守るためのどんなことをしたらいいか」ということを書けばいいわけですが、①Akikoの意見を引用する形で書いても、②自分で書き上げても構わないと思います。
英作文で大切なことはいきなり書くのではなくて、予め何を書くのか決めることです。そのために、まずは書けるか書けないかは置いといて、なるべくたくさん意見を出します。

①で書く場合
要するに木の減少が原因なので、木を植える活動をするといいと思います。あるいは、紙の使用量を減らすためにペーパーレス化(紙の資料をデジタル化すること)を進めるとかが考えられます。

②で書く場合
この場合、ある程度の事前知識が必要ですね。簡単なお題だったらこっちでいいと思いますが、今回はこっちで書くのは難しいかもしれません。
例えば、コアラを保護する活動を支援するために募金をするとか、車の発達で多くのコアラが引き殺されているというのを聞いたことがあるので自転車を利用するようにするなどが挙げられると思います。

まずは、きちんと自分のideaを挙げてます。きちんと書けばそれだけで20~25語に達します。足りなければ、それに補足説明をするといいと思います。①でやった場合2文で「Akikoが言うようにオーストラリアでは●●だ。だから...」と書けばいいと思います。②で書く場合は、いつも通り先に意見を書き、それの理由を説明すればいいと思います。
