Topic  Do we need security cameras?

I think that we need security cameras. I have two reasons. First, having security cameras makes their home safe. For example, they can know if the thief come to their house. Second, security cameras help drop the crime rate in their town. In this way, their town will be comfortable to live. I consider that we should have security cameras.

書かれた文でもいいです。theirはourに変える必要があります。

次のFor exampleの文
→ we can know if <a> thief <breaks into> our house.
冠詞をaに変えるのと、動詞はcome toでもいいですが、お客さんではない表現をしたいです。

次のSecond,の文はtheirをourに。

In this wayの文もtheirをourに。また、形容詞はcomfortableでもいいですが、危害のない安心感はsecureも使えます。

家庭での防犯カメラの有無について書かれていますが、公共の場での導入についても書いてみると面白いかもしれません。プライバシー問題など賛否両論ありますよね。
surveillance cameraとかCCTVとも言われます。

文章の流れはスムーズで良いと思います。
表現の改善点をいくつか挙げてみます。

1. Do we need security cameras? → Yes, we do.  I think we need security cameras.
2. … makes their home safe. → makes our homes safe.  theirは何を指しているのでしょうか。security cameras? 
3. 以降の their house → our houses ／ their town → our towns
4. … our towns will be more comfortable to live in. 比較級 more comfortable＋最後にin　← to live in our towns
