I shouldn't have (let)<使役動詞> (my emotions) (get)<動詞の原形> (the) (better) (of) me.
留意点：
①let O ～(動詞の原形)　Oが～するのを許す、Oに～させる＜許可＞
②get the better of …　…より優勢になる、…を負かす
【文の意味】私は感情に負けるべきではなかった。←　私は感情が私を負かせるのを許すべきではなかった。
