分詞構文について
分詞の単純系と完了系の見分け方が曖昧なので教えてほしいです🙇🏻‍♀️
完了系は、分詞の方の動作が主文の動作より前に起こるということはわかるのですが、見分けられません💦
The cat was thought the fish was dead and went away.
という文章があったとして、これを分詞構文に直すと
Thinking the fish was dead, the cat went away.
だそうです
分詞の動作が主文の動作より前なため、Having thought から文章をはじめるのかと思いましたが違いました

⇒ Thinking the fish was(過去形) dead, the cat went(過去形) away.
※動詞の時制は全て同じ過去形＝時制に差がない → 完了形の分詞構文は使わない

②As I [had met](過去完了形) Jane once before, I recognized(過去形) her at once.
⇒ [Having met] Jane once before, I recognized(過去形) her at once. [完了形の分詞]
以前1度ジェーンに会ったことがあるので、すぐに彼女だと分かりました。
Because Ken has lived(現在完了形) in England for a decade, he has(現在形) no difficulty understanding English.
⇒ [Having lived] in England for about a decade, he has(現在形) no difficulty understanding English. [完了形の分詞]
ケンはイングランドに10年住んでいたことがあるので、英語の理解には全く問題がありません。
※時制の変化：過去完了形→過去形→現在完了形→現在形→未来形 ⇒ 時制に差がある場合に完了形の分詞を使う

となるのは何故ですか？どちらも過去形なのにHavingが付く理由がわかりません…
もし良ければ答えていただけると助かります💦

→ He finished his preparation, flying to the Arctic.
※分詞構文：接続詞＋主語＋動詞 → 現在分詞(動詞が能動態)／過去分詞(動詞が受動態)とするのが、分詞構文の基本

2. Havind finished his preparation, He flew to the Arctic. は誰の解答ですか？
He finished his preparation and flew to the Arctic.の分詞構文としては正答ではないと思います。
After he had finished his preparation, he flew to the Arctic. であれば、Having finished …. は正解です。
