なぜ①ではいけないのでしょうか。→ far too beautiful(あまりにも美し過ぎる) はありますが、far beautiful の表現がないから、further beautiful も the furthest beautiful もありません。

程度を表せると思ったのですが。→　確かに程度を表すことはありますが、それは比較級と最上級の表現と一緒に使う時です。
例：This is far more beautiful than that. これはあれよりもずっと美しい。
This is (by) far the most beautiful of all. これは全ての中でずば抜けて最も美しい。
