下の英文について教えていただきたいです。
この文の最後には、"as now "が省略されているのですが、その省略が見抜けないです。
"as now "を補わなくても、意味が成り立つ気がするのですが、文中のso "も"as now "に呼応するためのものであるらしく、よく分からないです。
またこれと同様の文として「I have never been as［so］happy」という文も後ろに"as now "が省略されているそうなのですが、見抜く事が出来ないです。
このような、soがある場合の比較対象の省略に気づくポイントはありますか？
とても難しくて困っています。
教えていただけると助かります。
