関係代名詞節(カタマリ)の部分を直して考えてみると良いと思います。

which = the circus なので、

1.【the circus】we all thought really (　　). whichをthe circusで置き換え

2. we all thought 【the circus】really (　　). 文法上適切な場所に移動

で、2の文で考えてみるとですが、

We all = S
thought = V
the circus = O
really (　　) = C

となります。(think O Cの構文ですね)

後はOとCの関係で見ればいいので、

The circus is really 【exciting】.
The circus is really 【excited】.

のうち、どちらの文が良いかと考えれば、
「exciting」の④になるかと思います。
