〝would rather〟を使った文で、仮定法を使ったものと普通の文がある思うのですが、2つの違いはなんでしょうか。
・仮定法では無い文
I would rather buy this pen.（私はむしろこのペンを買いたい）
・仮定法の文
I would rather you stayed here.
私はあなたにむしろここにいてほしい
相手に何かを願う場合は仮定法なのでしょうか？
