“Motala" means “Miss Green." She was
used for pulling logs in a green forest. One
day, she stepped on a landmine. One of her
legs was seriously injured! Her owner was
shocked. He tried hard to take his elephant
to the hospital. Motala walked ten kilometers
on three legs. After three days, they finally
arrived at the hospital.
