まず、イとウは時制が一致しません。
アだと、「オフィスを出る前に、彼にその問題についてをより詳しく話した」となり、少しおかしな意味になってしまいます。
エだと、「オフィスを出る前に、彼にその問題についてより詳しく話すべきだった」となります。
なのでエが答えかと。
