the other は2つのもののうち特定のもう1つ
the others は3つ以上のもののうち特定のほかの残りの全て
anotherは別のもの
others は別のものたち

不特定のもの（a+単数名詞）のかわりにoneをつかい、特定の(the+単数名詞）にはitをつかいます(^^)

ちなみに either (of A)は Aのどちらか一方です(^^)
