否定のnoのあとの名詞が複数形になる時と、単数形になる時の違いはなんですか？
参考書のある例文では、
No students in our class knew the historical event.というようにstudentsとなってましたが、
There is no student in this school who doesn't know about him.とか
No (other) student in our school runs as fast as Jim. [比較]
のようにstudentと単数形になってました。
この違いはなんでしょうか？
