和訳について。

の和訳解答が　

「自分が上がっているのか下がっているのかさえも確信が持てなくなる。」

なのですが、これは

if節を副詞節と解釈して　

「たとえ、自分が上がったり下がったりしているとしても、そのことさえ、確信出来ない。」
↓
「自分が上がっているのか下がっているのかさえも確信が持てなくなる。」

という風に訳したのでしょうか？
