③の方の例文に関して質問なのですが、a)の文を書き換えてb)の方の例文に直した時に、何故My father said の『said 』の部分が変わらないのか教えて下さい🙇🏻‍♀️

②の例で、a)said to meと(to 人)があるので、b)told meのようになります
