助けてください。本当に困っています。　
下の英文の一連の流れが分からないです。
解説には、違うグループ同士で同じラベルをみた人たちのブーストを選んだ比率を比較している、と書いてありました。（確かにasの後ろの省略を考えるとこっちがしっくりきます）ですが、when節が条件に見えるため、同じグループの中で違うラベルを見てブーストを選んだ人たちの比率を比較したいるようにも思えます。when節に注目してみると、後者の方がしっくりきて、混乱しています。
この英文の背景が全く分からないです。
どういった実験なんでしょうか？
詳しく教えていただけると大変助かります。
