どのような働きをするか(主格、所有格、目的格)によって使い分けられる。

どのようなawomanであるかをwho 以下の関係代名詞
節が説明している。ここでは、先行詞は人であり、
後ろに続く節の中で主語の働きをしているので、whoが
使われる。
例 She was reading a novel. It was popular with teenager

a novel which was popular with tee
先行詞が人以外であり、主語の働きをしているので、which
が使われる。
