現在完了進行形を用います。 ここでは、〈have been increasine
for + 期間〉とすると、「一度も減少することなく増え続けてい
る」という意味になりますが、ふつう売り上げは増加する場合で
も若干の増減を繰り返しながら増加していきますので不適切です。
よって〈have been increasing over +期間〉を使います。
V「急速に」は?
increase や decrease との組み合わせでは、rapidly / greatly /
dramatically / sharply などがありますが、rapidly が受験生には
一番なじみがあると思います。動詞と副詞の組み合わせは決まっ
たもの以外は使えませんから、日本語で考えて勝手に作らないで
ください。
次の組み合わせは覚えておいてください。
