本文下から2行目のone part～のところなのですがstoryは複数形にしなくて良いのでしょうか？one of
the 複数名詞の形があるのでその考え方で複数形にしなくてはならないのではないかと思いました。

one of 複数形になります。

ここでは、
特定の1つのstoryの中の一部分と言っていますから
storyは単数で問題ありません。
複数のstoriesの中の1つのstoryという意味ではないと思うので。
