Why was Jun surprised when he arrived on Burano?

During the spring vacation, I went to Italy
with my family and I visited the island of
Burano by myself. It took 40 minutes to get to
the island by water-bus from Venice. The sea
breeze was salty but cool!
When I arrived, I was surprised because
the houses were so colorful. They were very
different from those in my country, Japan. I
thought to myself, "This scenery is just what I
wanted to see!"
