という文で、こういう場合both of themをboth of whomにするのは知っているのですが、よく考えてみると上の文の場合both of whomは主語になっているのにどうしてwhoではなくwhomなのでしょうか。
あまり深く考えずに、both of whomはそういうものとして覚えるのが良いのでしょうか
