この2つの文どちらとも名詞のあとにbe+過去分詞がくるのはどういう意味(働き)ですか？分詞ですか？
例えば(1)ならthe meeting be postponed の部分です。

(]) They (suggested to me that the meeting be postponed for) tvo Weeks,
と [に…を提案する」 は suggest to人入+that …》 とする。 選択肢に should がないので.
that 節内は仮定法現在を用い the meeting be postponed .…… とする。

(2) James (requested his chair be replaced with a new) one.

ごとではHis chair の前に接続詞の that が省略されている。 replace A with Bで[AをB
と取り換える」。
