解法の1～3行目ところについてなのですが、左の写真の文法書に書いてあるような接続詞や前置詞のthanとの違いがあまり分からず、関係代名詞ととらえるよりいつもと同じように接続詞や前置詞でとらえていいと思ったのですが合ってますか？

比較級とともに使う than, そして同等比較 〈asas... 〉の後ろの as は接
法 続詞ですが、後続の語句との関係でS, O, Cの役割をしている場合は関係代
名詞と理解したほうが文構造の把握がすっきりします。 例題では,第2文に than が
ありますが、その前に第1文を片づけておきましょう。 ダッシュの中の or は「~であ
ろうと」と譲歩の雰囲気を持っています (99課)。
