The concept of time varies between industrialized and agricultural societies. Whereas industrialized groups view time in terms of seconds and minutes, the agricultural ones view it in terms of seasons, periods or stretches of work routine. Uganda, a country with an agricultural orientation, is no different. Even today people refer to their birth dates in terms of seasons.

If one has to do some work in the morning, it does not matter if it is done at ten minuets to nine or twenty minutes to ten, as long as it is done within that stretch of time. Therefore, most Ugandans fail to understand why other people get upset if one is five or ten minutes late. Most people will not even apologize for being late because it does not make sense.

例えばこの例文ならas a mother talksとto her childを副詞の()を分けてかたまりを作ると考えてました。

It is easy for you to read this book. This book is easy for you to read.
