ですので、yesterday 以下を省略してシンプルにすると
I introduced her to the coach.
彼女を「コーチに」紹介した（または、引き合わせた）。
to the coachはtoを使って「誰に」を表します。

The coach = 誰？
The coach = whom I introduced her to
↓
The coach = to whom I introduced her
こんな感じです。
